Pharmacy Technician Course
Pharmacy Technician Program in Charlotte, North Carolina
The Pharmacy Technician Program in Charlotte, North Carolina is designed to train students in the skills of counting pills and preparing and dispensing medication. They will also be trained in order processing, inventories, compounding, packaging, and the use of a prescription balance. The program includes 150 hours of classroom and laboratory. There is an additional 120 hours of externship. Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible to take the National Pharmacy Technician Certifying Board Examination. To be listed on the Pharmacy Certification Technician Board in NC, students must take and pass The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)exam.
The Tuition is $1750.00 ( which includes the textbook, exam prep book, handouts, and student’s insurance). Other requirements include drug tests, background checks, TB skin tests, lab supply fees, and uniforms.
The class dates are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 AM to 2 PM for ten (10) weeks. The year calendar is as follows:
